Overview
‘The Great Bog of the Winds’ or ‘Boglach Mor Nan Gaothan’ showcases a body of work by Magi Sinclair. The work explores the landscape of Northern Scotland, through a series of large-scale drawings.
Such landscapes can be typified by an abundance of peat bog and a seeming endlessness. Magi translates this abundance of peat through an application of peat ash as a material for drawing, consequently grounding the work with a sense of place.
