Overview
A unique chance to look back over 4 decades of works that tell the story of the Influences and working practices of the individuals behind the successful Anta brand.Lachie and Annie Stewart.Lachlan Stewart, Architect, and Annie Stewart, Colourist, founded ANTA in 1984.Their first exhibition was at the Highland Craft Fair in Aviemore the same year, exhibiting under Sandeman and Stewart.The original idea with ANTA was to realise our design philosphy in practical terms based upon the Scottish Vernacular, The move to the highlands, the restoration of Ballone and the setting up of the workshops at Fearn are testement to this. -
